Justice in the hands of the powerful is merely a governing system like any other. Why call it justice? Let us rather call it injustice, but of a sly effective order, based entirely on cruel knowledge of the resistance of the weak, their capacity for pain, humiliation and misery. Georges Bernanos
The Right to a Sustainable Future:
The Most Fundamental Human Right
Creating A Sustainable Future (CASF) is a progressive organization campaigning for human rights, especially the right to a sustainable future.
Declaration of Human Rights Principles
CASF human rights beliefs conform with most of the principles of human rights declared in Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UDHR (1948-1998). [See also International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (entry into force 23 March 1976) and International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (entry into force 3 January 1976)]
CASF denounces the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, the New Zealand Human Rights Commission and the Canadian Human Rights Commission for their abject failure in upholding the rights of aboriginal peoples [at least protecting them against genocide] in New Zealand, Canada and elsewhere in the world.
- All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights without distinction of any kind such as race, color, gender…
- The right to life, liberty and the right of security of person
- The right to an education
- Freedom from torture or cruel, inhumane treatment or punishment
- Freedom of thought and conscience
We are organizing teams globally to promote the Human Rights campaigns. The cyber campaigns endeavor to raise public awareness concerning human rights issues and invite public support to prosecute individuals, groups, or governments that have, or are committing crimes against humanity.
The teams consist of students, academics and other professional, as well as ordinary citizens who feel strongly about Human Rights issues and campaign to bring the violators to justice.
The campaigners promote and publicize the campaigns within their communities (in person, online, by phone, or in writing) inviting participants to endorse the campaigns, which are normally presented as petitions.
The teams would then lodge complaints with the target organizations, normally United Nations General Assembly, International Criminal Court (ICC), International Court of Justice (ICJ) and other similar bodies.
If you are concerned about the future of life on Earth, humanity, your family, the environment, food, energy, health, education, culture, economy and governance, if you want to save the fabric of
life on Earth, join in CASF campaigns.
Let us give life a chance. Perhaps we could save a segment of the future for some of the next generations instead of devouring the whole of the future.
CASF is affiliated with the Management School of Restorative Business (MSRB). For more information visit MSRB website [website no longer maintained.]
Our teams have vacancies for Human Rights volunteers, who could help publicize and promote the campaigns.

Summary of Current Campaigns
1. War is Just a Racket: Take a Stand; Dismantle the War Machine; Demilitarize the World!
Summary: To stop the war racketeers profiting from wars and to void their ‘license to mass murder,’ we the undersigned call on you, the world community, parents, writers, poets, artists, farmers, workers, academics, professionals and all other concerned individuals to rise up and take a stand against the insanity of militarism forced on your community.
Take control of your destiny. Help bring about an end to the manufacture and sales of weapons in your country and the world. Redirect your national income from feeding the war machine to provide food, shelter, health, education and harmony for all.
Remember: Without your consent, explicit or implied, the wheels of the military machine would come to a grinding halt. Petition is available at URL: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/774011915
2. Demand an Immediate International Criminal Tribunal for Israel to Stop Global War!
Summary: The brutal bombings and invasion of Lebanon and Gaza are acts of Israeli state terrorism. The U.S. invasion and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, and the present US-Israeli threat to Syria and Iran indicate their ruthless struggle for hegemony in the oil-rich Middle East, which would escalate into a global war.
Action: We demand that United Nations General Assembly immediately establish an International Criminal Tribunal for Israel (ICTI) as a ‘subsidiary organ’ under U.N. Charter Article 22 to prosecute the Israeli Prime Minister Olmert, Israel’s Defense Minister, top generals and other war criminals for their infliction of international war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide against the Peoples of Lebanon and Palestine. Petition is available at URL: http://www.petitiononline.com/un040806/petition.html
3. A Call to World Citizens and Ethical Investors to Boycott Westpac Bank
Summary: The Bank of New South Wales, later Westpac Banking Corporation, opened 7 branches in New Zealand in 1861, which facilitated and was enormously enriched by the theft of Maori land, gold and all other resources. MSRB is calling on world citizens and ethical investors to boycott Westpac New Zealand until such time the bank and their major shareholders have compensated Maori, as well as other deprived New Zealanders.
Action: MSRB is calling for a boycott of Westpac New Zealand until such time the bank and their major shareholders have compensated Maori and other deprived New Zealanders. Petition is available at URL: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/679477073
4. Stop Genocide against Native Peoples in Canada
Summary: Since 1890, Canadian authorities, the judiciary, doctors and the police along with the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian and United Church of Canada implemented a policy of genocide against the native population. They have perpetrated murder, land theft, mass sterilizations, medical experiments, and sexual terrorism on native people across Canada. Government documents and eyewitnesses confirm that over 50,000 children died in the “residential schools” run by these churches until 1984, or more than 50% of the inmates of these facilities.
Action: Creating A Sustainable Future (CASF) is calling on United Nations General Assembly, International Criminal Court (ICC) and International Court of Justice (ICJ) to establish an International War Crimes Tribunal to investigate the complicity in genocide against native peoples in Canada, past and present, by Canadian government and its agencies, the multinational corporations, the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian and United Church of Canada and other forces.
CASF urges the international community to boycott Canada, Canadian products and Canadian athletes, in Beijing 2008 and all future sporting events, until the Canadians have acknowledged and apologized for the genocide that they inflicted on millions of native men, women and children who were deliberately exterminated for their lands, brought the perpetrators to justice, restored the stolen lands and natural resources and afforded adequate compensation for the evil deeds that they have been perpetrating against the native peoples.
